I have a photography degree, and initially I did studio work mostly with animals and children. I now love the freedom my digital camera gives me. I love the patterns nature weaves in various elements, also the environment where I happen to be at the time has many surprising photographic opportunities that crop up. I set myself projects but take advantage of what comes my way.
